Hoop Dance

  1. Hoop Dance is a low impact cardiovascular workout that strengthens core flexibility, balance, self image and reduces stress. In this beginner's class you will learn the foundation of Hoop Dance, hooping around your waist, hips, legs, chest and shoulders. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that will allow you to move freely. 2 sessions will be offered you can sign up for both or just one

Curious about new foods? Want to impress your friends with a nice meal? Crave sushi but don't have the money for a night out? Join us as we learn to make sushi rolls, called maki from start to finish. Enjoy a delicious sushi meal with new friends. **Chopsticks optional!

Maine Driving Dynamics

Maine Driving Dynamics is a Maine-sponsored 5 hours defensive driving course that offers all drivers the opportunity to improve their defensive driving abilities.  The course includes discussion of collision avoidance techniques, safety issues, driver habits and attitudes, and the basic elements that constantly challenge drivers on Maine’s highways.  It is taught by a certified instructor in a format that engages students with lectures, videos, and class discussion/participation. Those completing the course will receive a 3 point credit on their driving record, and students 55 and older can receive an insurance discount from their issuer.  Best of all, we believe students will be safer drivers and leave the class with a new and unique way of looking at the driving experience.

65 years and older: $25

Yoga for Every Body mini session

This is a 4 week session so if you have been thinking of starting this would be a great trial. It has the same offerings of the longer class in a four week condensed version. Bring a water bottle, yoga mat and dress comfortably to allow for ease of movement.
