Too cold, dark and slippery outside to walk? Join our indoor walking club. Please change out of your boots into a good pair of walking shoes. Stay on the ground level or challenge yourself by walking between the first and second floors. This is an independent program with no instruction provided.

Our therapy pool is 92 degrees with salt and H2O system. What a great way to work on your strength and flexibility, without pain. Great for any levels of fitness. All classes are taught by therapists and they can easily provide modifications if needed. Classes held at Hermon Covey Physical Therapy - 2263 RT. 2, Hermon, ME. Six classes per session. To be considered registered, class fee must be paid in full.

Have you heard of the magic that is alcohol inks? Create a watercolor look on non-porous surfaces. Make plain white tiles into pieces of art. No art skills needed to make something gorgeous, super easy, and unique. Paint on glazed surfaces, glass, metal, etc. A variety of surfaces will be provided.

Introduction to Fly Fishing
This course is designed to get you solidly grounded in the fundamentals needed to enjoy fly fishing. Topics covered include tackle selection and assembly, knots, fly casting, fish foods, artificial flies, fly fishing strategies, entomology, and wading safety. After completing this course, you should have all the understanding and skills necessary to catch fish with a fly rod on your own. This course will be taught in Orono by Kevin Tracewski, a registered Maine guide and author of the best selling book, A Fisherman’s Guide to Maine.

Fun, social, and great exercise, pickleball combines elements of badminton, ping pong and tennis. Considered one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, pickleball can be played at many levels, and is a great sport for people of all ages. In this class you will learn all of the basics to begin playing this great game. Please indicate which session you would like to attend when registering. All classes are at Armstrong Tennis Center, 60 Mecaw Rd. Hampden.

Learn about an enduring tradition, timeless art of Henna body painting and wonderful artistry of beautiful patterns which comes with practice and control. This course allows students to get in touch with their creative side, and learn the methods required when using natural henna paste to achieve beautiful, flowing pieces of body artwork. All henna used will be organic Henna safe for all skin types. During this class you will learn the history of henna, basic flow and simple patterns (on paper), henna preperation (how to mix henna / make henna application), techniques and practical henna application and henna after care. Adults and teens welcome
