In this course, you will explore the importance of movement in the classroom and the impact it can have not just on a student’s physical health but on mental well-being and academic performance as well. You will learn about specific ways to incorporate movement into your specific content area by analyzing various physical activities across a variety of categories.

You will be provided with a guide for planning and implementing these physical activities into upcoming lessons using our GETUP guide. This guide provides activity ideas for games, energy breaks, team building, utilization of space, and physical challenges. Regardless of the content area that you teach, you will walk away with practical ideas to implement into an upcoming lesson.
