Maine Adult Education

In this installment of Ed Higgins’ Atelier style classes, we’ll be exploring and studying the human form with Charcoal. Open to artists of any experience level, you will warm up with quick gesture drawings, followed by more sustained poses. Live models will be clothed, and we ask that you kindly tip the model something at the end of each class. The materials list is simple: Charcoal and White chalk (Vine, compressed sticks, and Pencils), a kneaded eraser, and an 18 x 24” pad of Newsprint.
