Maine Adult Education

A good follow up to the Ink for Astronauts class. We’ll study some traditional architectural rendering techniques from the book “Rendering in Pen and Ink” (Guptil, 60th edition), and occasionally add some watercolor washes. We’ll use speed sketching to warm up, and tackle any lingering perspective problems. This indoor class will be good prep for any urban sketching excursions you may plan featuring street scenes and buildings. The minimum materials list for this class is a sketchbook and pencils, erasers, a set of artist grade watercolors and brushes, drawing pens with waterproof ink and/or dip pens and bottled ink.
