Have you always wanted to learn how to knit? Or has it been a long time since you've picked up the needles? Maybe you're stuck on a project. Join us in a relaxed and fun atmosphere! You'll learn how to cast on, knit and purl, read a pattern, as well as repair mistakes in an easy-going class. It's fun to be part of a creative community. All levels are welcome. You'll need a skein of light-colored Red Heart Worsted Weight yarn and a pair of size needles (size 7 or 8 is best). Other small supplies will be discussed. Get ready to learn how to make all kinds of items suitable for gift-giving. One of Vicky’s favorite patterns is a dead fish hat which she is happy to share. Get ready to laugh with Vicky, she certainly makes knitting fun. Sessions are taught separately, with no prior experience required.                                                                                                                                 

This presentation is an in-depth review at Social Security as a retirement benefit. Who is eligible and when you are eligible.  We will go over how to sign up for SS retirement benefits, benefit eligibility, ways to maximize your social security benefits, ideal time to collect, and rights and options.

A compelling story has the power to engage an audience and take them along on its journey. Many people believe that storytelling is challenging and complex, but that is not the case. With some essential skills and practice, anyone can become a storyteller. In this two-part workshop, you will learn how to effectively structure a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end. We will discuss key elements such as set-up, conflict, and resolution. Additionally, we will cover public speaking and performance techniques to enhance your storytelling abilities.

Take your EXCEL skills to the next level. We will learn about tables, charts, data analysis, sorting, formulas and functions as well as pivot tables. 

This course is held on three consecutive Wednesdays, please attend all three.
