American Heart Association (AHA): Heartsaver Adult/Child/Infant CPR and AED & First Aid
with Susan Robbins R.N., Lake Region & Fryeburg Area Adult Education
This course provides a framework for learning basic skills that may save a life or prevent further injury. You will learn first aid basics, CPR for adults, children, and infants, AED use, and emergency opioid aid. The course includes classroom instruction and practice as well as a return demonstration of skills. There is a pass/fail component to the demonstration of skills learned in the class. The class is 8 hours in length.
Watercolor for Beginners to Intermediate
with Donna Kantor, Lake Region & Fryeburg Area Adult Education
If you’ve always wanted to learn watercolor painting in a relaxed, no critique environment, this is the perfect class! A place to learn some foundational skills and a variety of techniques, painting a simple landscape, birds and a floral.
Suggested materials list will be available at first class. But please bring whatever materials you have.
Lab Fee: $10 to be paid directly to the instructor on the first day of class.

Drawing for Adult Beginners

It’s never too late to learn! No experience is necessary or expected. A class that introduces a nuts and bolts approach to a structured drawing process. A variety of mediums will be used, graphite in different forms and charcoal in block, powder and vine. Materials provided for in-class use.

Accuplacer Testing

The ACCUPLACER is a series of assessments designed to evaluate a student’s skill in reading, writing and math. The scores are used by colleges to determine a student’s readiness and placement into credit-bearing college courses.
As an official ACCUPLACER testing site, we can help you prepare, administer the test, and submit scores to the college of your choice.
