Have you ever had questions about the world of electricity? What is an electrical circuit? What is a series circuit? What is a parallel circuit? How do you use a digital multimeter? How do you troubleshoot an electrical circuit? How do you read an electrical schematic? What are electrical symbols? These questions and more will be answered in this Electricity 1 class.

Electricity 1 will be offered in two sessions. Session 1 will cover basic electrical concepts as applied to everyday life.  Session 2, upon completion, you will be given a final exam, which when passed, will meet the Electricity 1 requirement by the state licensing board towards an electrical license.

There will be a mandatory information night on September 10th at 6:00pm for interested individuals to come and ask questions about the course.  A reference book and multimeter will be discussed to purchase prior to class starting.
