Would you like to train your brain to function at a higher level? Do you exercise to improve your physical fitness? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then read on…this class is for you. You may realize the importance of physical exercise, yet rarely do we think of the need to perform fitness training for our brain. Brain fitness is now recognized as a key ingredient in our overall well-being and quality of life. Scientists now believe that the brain is able to grow new dendrites and neurons. These exercises can benefit anyone, regardless of age or cognitive ability. This is achieved by stimulating the brain with challenging, novel-enriched activities. Donna Davis has been the Activity Director at the Gorham House for over twenty years delivering quality programming to the Residents who live there. 8 classes – Wednesdays, 4/3-5/22, 10:30am-11:30am, Gorham House, $25
