Art Trail Maine: Explore, Create, See Art, Collaborate! Visit exceptional galleries in destinations that offer some of the best image collecting locations and a midday collaborative/sharing over lunch! Each destination will afford approximately 3 hours to explore and create in visually interesting locations, followed by a relaxed lunch and afternoon gallery visits. The trip leader will be available for image-making support as requested, and anecdotal information about the area. These are locations Deb has visited annually for over 30 years, and are among her favorite image collecting sites. Curated introductions by gallery staff/owners as available. At 9:30 am we will meet at West Market Square for artisan coffee in the heart of downtown Bangor, then we will coordinate sites for drawing and photography. At 12:30 pm we will meet for lunch at Paddy Murphy’s. There is an outdoor dining option with reservations required (through group leader). After lunch we will visit the Zillman Art Museum of the University of Maine - one of the finest Modern and Contemporary galleries in the state.
