Pharmacy Technician with PTCB Certification

Work One-On-One with a Pharmacy Technician Trainer and entirely online with support from a Pharmacy Technician and Trainer. The Pharmacy Technician is one of the fastest growing jobs in health care today. In this course, you will learn everything from the role of the technician in the pharmacy setting, to the basic sciences at the core of pharmacy practice, to preparing for the PTCB exam. You will learn complete drug information that includes proper name, spelling and pronunciation, drug class, generic and trade name, route of administration, dosage and more of hundreds of drugs. You will be able to identify pills on sight with pill photos, gain a better understanding of how certain drugs work within the body with a concise review of relevant anatomy and physiology, and stay up to date with cutting-edge pharmacy practice with the latest information on new drugs, regulations, HIPAA guidelines and safety procedures. You will be ready to pass your PTCB national certification included in cost.

Phlebotomy with CPT Certification
with Academy of Medical Professions, Five Town CSD Adult & Community Education
Become Nationally Certified in 10 weeks as a Phlebotomy Technician by professionals in the industry. Our course is all-inclusive and in-depth. You will be able to: Perform basic phlebotomy procedures; Evaluate patients for the ability to withstand venipuncture procedure; Explain the venipuncture procedure and answer patient questions; Perform basic point of care testing, such as blood glucose levels on patients; Prepare blood, urine, and other body fluid specimens for testing according to established standards. Clinicals are performed during the class, including 75 sticks, and will require immunization records prior to enrollment. Tuition includes national certification, books, resume and job assistance.

Real Estate Sales Agent

The Center for Real Estate Studies is offering the opportunity to participate in their online SALES AGENT'S COURSE. Students who pass the course with a grade of 75% or better are eligible to take the Maine Real Estate Licensing Exam. Students who pass the state exam may join a licensed Maine Real Estate Agency and obtain a Maine Real Estate Sales Agent license. The course is also useful for students who are considering buying or selling real estate to understand the process. And, because the course covers real property valuation and real estate finance, it helps investor students understand the forces that create value and why ownership of real estate is key to wealth accumulation. This entire course is offered online. This online course is asynchronous which means students may start and finish at any time; there are no set class hours. Students have a live instructor whom they may contact with questions and the instructor holds office hours monthly. Participation is optional. The Maine Real Estate Commission requires that the course be completed within one calendar year from the date of registration. Access to this course requires the student have a computer and internet connection. Office hours are conducted over Zoom. Students must register with Adult Education which will forward your registration to the Center's website. The registration fee includes all materials and fees. A hard copy of the text is available for an additional $25. CALL TO REGISTER, payment is by check or cash only.
