Women's Defensive Pistol Fundamentals

with Alice Bean Andrenyak, Central Lincoln County Adult Education

$135

Over two weeks in a safe environment, you will learn the mindset and skills to protect yourself and those that you care deeply about with and without a firearm. Women shoot and learn differently from men, so this is a women's only class. You will learn or review the basics of handling a firearm and then about self-defense and more importantly how to be safe when moving in public.

Learn the difference between accurate target shooting and defensive shooting. Practice will be inside the classroom using SIRT pistols (laser only shooting pistols) but you will be seriously challenged. Holsters and special clothing will be used. A $35 textbook is included. No firearms are to be brought to class. This course meets Maine's Concealed Carry Permit application requirements. Optional but strongly suggested two-hour semi-private range lesson time will be scheduled separately from class and is an additional fee. Please call 563-2811 to register.
