Spanish 4

Students will continue their Spanish language development by working on pronunciation, conversational abilities, and vocabulary skills. This course is also appropriate for students who have had a semester of Spanish but need to refresh their skills. Requirement: Purchase Practical Spanish Grammar, A Self-Teaching Guide by Marcial Prado, ISBN: 0-471-13446-5.
Basic Blacksmithing
with Steve Anderson, RSU 54/MSAD 54 Adult and Community Education
In this two-day, introductory course explore the basics of the blacksmithing trade. Learn everything from wearing safety clothes to building and managing a coal fire. Learn what tools are needed to bend, twist, punch, drift, and forge shoulders.
After watching demonstrations of specific blacksmithing techniques and tool use, students will be provided practice time.
There is a $10 fee for materials and fuel which will be paid to the instructor on Thursday night.
Thursday, April 25 at 6pm to 8pm, students will meet at 266 Fredericks Corner Rd, Norridgewock, Maine
On Saturday, April 27 at 8am to 4pm, students will meet at the Maine Academy of Natural Sciences, 13 Easler Rd, Hinckley, Maine

Sturbridge Village Trip
with Lynne Longworth, Wells-Ogunquit Adult Community Education
A trip to Sturbridge Village is a step back in time to 1790's through 1830. This is the largest living museum in New England. The village was established in 1946. The village is made up of 200 acres and there is 40 original buildings to tour. We will be having lunch in the tavern before returning to Wells. The trip departs at 8:00a.m. and returns by 4:30p.m. Cost of the trip is $72.00. We are limited to 7 guests for this trip.
