Science: Field Work Adventures (For High School Completion)
Science is sensational especially when partnered with field work. This course is being offered in the spring with the hopes that warmer weather will accompany students on their many outdoor adventures as they earn their high school credential. Call ABE Coordinator Catherine Renaud to register for this and other high school diploma classes at 892-1819. No classes the week 4/15 - 4/19.

Kathy Floyd has been teaching ESOL, HiSET, and High School Diploma at WRAE since 2009. She received the New Teacher of the Year award from the Maine Adult Education Association for the 2009-2010 school year.
Social Aspects of Health and Illness

What are the differences between health, illness, and disease? What are the social (rather than the clinical) causes and aspects of health and illness in the US? We will examine the social causes and consequences of health-related problems such as heart disease, cancer, AIDS, substance abuse, eating disorders, and domestic violence.
