Students may enroll in this academic course to earn high school credit, refresh their skills, or prepare for the HiSET (formerly the GED), college, or career.  We offer in-person instruction on campus, remote instruction through Google Meet, and independent study options through learning platforms like HiSET Academy.

When you meet with the Adult Education director, an individualized plan will be created that works for you, your specific needs, and life situation. You will be given an account to work in a self-paced style program with HiSET and progress from there. When ready, you can take practice tests, and eventually the exams. There are five tests in total in five subject areas; Math, Science, Social Studies, English Reading, and English Writing. When necessary, we will set you up with a tutor in the subjects that you need a little more support with. MSAD 52 Adult & Community Education offers a fully accredited high school diploma after the acquisition of 20 credit hours.

This diploma is recognized by all branches of the military as well as all colleges and certificate programs.

We accept transfer credits from all accredited high schools.
