In this course, we will learn about four different types of extreme weather seen in North America, though not all are common to New England. The four weather phenomena we will examine in this portion of the course are Blizzard, Tornado, Hurricane, and Wild-Fire. We will spend the first four weeks learning about each of these types of extreme weather. From there, we'll spend the last half of the course testing our understanding of these weather phenomena and our survival skills as we go through a simulation where we're not sure what weather disasters will befall us.
