This course enhances managers' abilities to comprehend Millennial influences, break negative stereotypes, create appealing company cultures, and optimize daily interactions. Topics include values, technology, recruitment, expectations, conflict resolution, and insights into Gen Z.

Have you ever seen an aura? Not sure? This class will dive into how to see them and understand their many energies.
Family Soap Making
with ELIZABETH GOODY, Noble Adult & Community Education
In this class, you will use a variety of soap bases, scents, colors and textures to make you own soaps. Beth will provide molds, but you can bring your own. Please bring a microwavable glass container (mason jar, 2-cup glass measuring cup, or a small bowl).
This cost of the class is per person. Class is limited to children ages 12 and above.
Materials fee: $7 payable to the instructor, with the option to purchase additional materials.
Career Pathways Series: Plumbing and HVAC

Region 9 Adult and Community Education Launches New Career Pathways Program With a Focus on Plumbing and HVAC!
Dave Murphy, the Region 9 Adult and Community Education Director, recently announced the creation of a new program that will be designed to provide interested community members with information about various career opportunities in the area. These sessions will begin in May and will be free to the public, although participants will be required to register beforehand.
Kicking off the series will be Mike Field, owner of Field Plumbing and Heating in Newry. Mr. Field attended Region 9 as a student and now runs a very successful business in the area. He will focus on providing some insights into the benefits of considering a future in the plumbing and heating/HVAC profession as well as outlining some of the steps that interested participants can take to begin that process. In addition to providing some information about the profession, there will also be a time for him to respond to any questions people might have.

Registrations for this event will be limited so interested parties are urged to sign up as soon as possible.

DEATH WITH DIGNITY

There is still a lot of misunderstanding and misinformation about Maine's compassionate end-of-life care option. Many providers and patients are still not familiar with Maine's Death with Dignity Act. In effect since September 2019, the law permits physicians to practice medical aid-in-dying under specific circumstances. Join this class to get fact-based information and the details you need to know about Maine's law, how to have the conversation with your physician, and how to qualify for the law or support your loved one who may be qualifying. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard: From Sails to Atoms

Portsmouth Naval Shipyard has a venerable heritage and rich tradition. Learn about its role and achievements in times of war and peace from a military historian’s perspective. The tour includes a visit to the Shipyard’s Treaty of Portsmouth exhibit, a walking tour of the Shipyard Mall area, a driving tour around the perimeter of the base, including an up-close view of the former Naval Prison’s exterior, and lastly a visit to the Shipyard’s Heritage Center. Must bring valid photo I.D. such as Driver’s License or U.S. Passport. Non U.S Citizens will be required to submit additional documentation in advance. Participants must be able to use the bus and negotiate stairs. Neither the bus nor comfort facilities are handicapped accessible. *You will park at Albacore Park, 569 Submarine Way, Portsmouth NH to board the bus. The Park would like us to use the back parking lot furthest away from the Submarine and Visitor Center.
