The imagination is an amazing tool, and nowhere is this more obvious than in the art of creative writing. From short fiction and poetry to full-length fiction or multi-volume fictional sagas, from unique social media posts to original advertising copy, it is important that the creative writer be able to tap into their creative, imaginative core. This class will touch on; generating ideas for a wide variety of writing projects, how to hook the reader’s attention, how to write attention-getting social media posts, the structures of poetry and fiction as well as developing narrative design for stories. You are welcome to bring your laptop or a notebook and writing utensils, whichever you are more comfortable with. But either way, this is an immersive, interactive class, so come prepared to write! Tetra-Pak Printmaking

Learn the art of printmaking using recycled Tetra-pak. Participants will learn how to make their own plate, how to ink the plate, and pull prints by hand or using a craft die-cutting machine (manual machine, not a Cricut) or pasta maker. After the prints dry, participants will learn how to finish their prints with optional hand-color prints using water-colors and/or colored pencils. This class is suitable for all levels. All materials included.
