Certified Residential Medication Interest List Aide (CRMA) Course

This is a 40 hour course that provides instruction to the induvial seeking knowledge and certification as a CRMA in the State of Maine residential setting. The course content includes lectures, videos, demonstration, return demonstrations, testing (must be 80% successful), discussion, class participation, and a clinical component where the student will pass medications to residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).

Certified Supply Chain Professional + Freight Broker/Agent Training

CNA CERTIFIED MEDICAL TECHNICIAN
with Lorna Collins, Franklin County Adult Education
State Approved Certified Medical Technician Program. Includes: 60 hours classroom, 20 hours classroom/lab, and 40 hours clinical training. This is a 120 hour course preparing CNA’s working in nursing homes to administer medications under the supervision of an RN (this 40 hour piece should be scheduled at the facility, by the facility, and a schedule provided to the instructor.) PREREQUISITE: CNA license +2080 hours as a CNA. Call the Adult Ed Office at 778-3460 for an application and detailed registration requirements. Assessments required.

This programs trains CNAs to administer selected non-injectable medications to patients who are 4 years of age and older. The course consists 120 hours of training, labs and clinicals; class training will be via Zoom and labs and clinicals will be scheduled in-person.
