One Pot Salad Gardens

In this one-night , hands-on class, you'll learn how to grow a variety of delicious leafy greens for a lovely homegrown salad, all in one plant pot.

You'll leave with the skills needed to create a salad garden and your newly planted pot. 

A $10 materials fee will be payable directly to the instructor the night of class.

This overdose prevention course covers a brief history of opioids and how to respond to an opioid overdose. Learn about the risk factors for overdose and how to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose, activate emergency response and administration of naloxone, and access follow-up care. Hear from local prevention professionals regarding the resources available by county, and the programs that are available specifically for youth substance use prevention. Please preregister as we need a minimum of 4 people to run the course.

Organizing & Storing Your Digital Photos

You've been taking great images with your digital camera but now what do you do with them? We'll show you how to store your photos making them easy to find. We will also show you how to keep them safe. Using Photoshop Elements you will learn how to create folders, burn CD's, resize images and more. If your photos are on a laptop you can bring it to class with you.

Can't find that picture you know you had? Wondering where that document that your friend emailed you got put? If so, this is the class for you. In this one-night class, you'll learn how to use the Windows program Explorer to organize all of your documents, pictures and videos.

We will also look at how to send and download email attachments.

Basic computer knowledge and an active email account are required. Bringing your personal laptop is encouraged but not required.

Outdoor Painting Workshop

Primary areas of focus include local color and color temperature, working from a warm ground to warm/cool harmonies, composing from an open-ended outdoor site, and planning the stages of alla prima sessions. Working from an agreed-upon location, materials are the same as the indoor class, with the addition of a standing outdoor easel. 

With 21 solo shows, Vincent Carducci’s paintings and prints are held in private and corporate collections across America.  He has taught in a wide variety of venues, including workshops, arts councils and universities.
