Microsoft Publisher: The Publisher program is designed to aid you in designing your own calendars, cards, and invitations, to name only a few of the many ways to use this program. Students need to bring a thumb drive to class. Limit 12 students.

Mindful Abstract Landscape Oil Painting

This class will incorporate mindfulness based techniques with an expressive approach to landscape oil painting. Exercises will emphasize various mark making and painting effects in an abstract way while providing an understanding of the basic principles of color theory and composition. The objective of the class will be to gradually overcome natural inhibitions, perfectionism, in order to fully express yourself at an intuitive level. No experience is required, just a willingness to tap into unchartered territory to discover your creative potential. A supply kit is available with a student discount at The Art Mart in Portland.
