Are you a business owner?  Are you thinking of starting your own business?  Maybe you’re thinking about making that hobby of yours into a full or part-time business?  In this seminar, we look at the basics of commercial insurance and the different types of policies that are available in the insurance market.  We also look at how the different types of insurance policies work together to avoid gaps in coverage.

Watercolors for Beginners

Learn and practice watercolor techniques by painting four subjects designed to present a variety of painting challenges.  This course is intended for persons with little or no previous art experience.  Both new and returning students are welcome.

A $5 material fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.

First night of class is strictly for beginners.  (Students that have not taken her class before).  Then seasoned students will start the following week.

Always wanted to learn how to knit? Or has it been a long time since you've picked up the needles? Maybe you're stuck on a project. Join us in a relaxed, fun atmosphere! You'll learn how to cast on, knit and purl, read a pattern, as well as repair mistakes in an easy-going class. It's fun to be part of a creative community.

You'll need a skein of light colored Red Heart Worsted Weight yarn and a pair of size needles (size 7 or 8 is best) other small supplies will be discussed. Get ready to learn how to make all kinds of items suitable for gift giving. One of Vicky’s favorite patterns is a dead fish hat which she is happy to share. Get ready to laugh with Vicky, she certainly makes knitting fun.

Please Note: Session 1 -There will be no class held on February 21 or March 17. Session 2 - there will be no class on April 16.

Handbuilding Pottery Spring 2024

In this class, we will learn various hand-building techniques and processes that will support you in making the projects that you want. Namely; coil building, various slab building techniques, hump and slump molds, pinch methods, subtractive sculpting, additive sculpting, and various decorating and finish techniques. We will begin with introductory projects into various hand-building techniques, and then you will be given the chance to apply the various techniques to create more complicated and custom projects of your design. This class is open to any level of experience with clay, and during this class, you will be given support and directions on how to set up your workspace at home so you can work on your projects in between classes. We will fire kilns and glaze as often as we can fill the kiln.

Yoga 101

Brings you Yoga 101 an Introduction to Yoga. Many People have curiosity about Yoga but have intimidation entering Class for the First time. We’re hoping to change that.This will be a Beginner Focused Class breaking down the ins & outs of Yoga. We’ll discuss the different styles of Yoga so you understand what kind of class suits you best.

In a Safe & Nurturing Environment you will learn to Breathe Properly. You will learn the importance of Stretching Safely & Effectively. How to calm your Nervous System. The basics of Yoga so that you leave with all the Tools to hop into any Yoga class with Confidence. Not to Mention the ability to Create your own at Home Yoga Practice.

This is for 10 classes in 10 weeks.  We will meet every Wednesday starting April 3 until June 12th.  We will skip April vacation week.

**Cancellation Policy** If you cancel there will be a small fee taken out to cover the fee.  Cancelling 1 week before the class there will be no refund.**
