Critique / Publishing Class (March)

$79

with Elizabeth Potter, Central Lincoln County Adult Education

Calendar Mar 28, 2020 at 10 am, runs for 1 week

The Critique/Publishing class is an opportunity to fine tune work in progress through intensive group critique and editing, resting on the old adage, “Many eyes are better than one.” In this class, we welcome honest, constructive feedback, both on what is strong and effective in a piece of writing, as well as what might be hindering its full expression. In addition, possible publishing leads and resources will be presented.

Those interested in participating in this class will be asked to submit 7-10 pages of prose or 3-5 pages of poetry for consideration to the instructor, Elizabeth Potter (potterem@ hotmail.com). The cost of the class includes suggestions for revision and line editing of the submitted manuscript by the instructor, a group critique session, and suggestions for possible publication.
