Herbal Allies for Pregnancy and Postpartum

with Andrea Webb, Clinicial Herbalist & Educator, Boothbay Region Adult & Community Education

$35

Humans have looked to their allies in the plant community to support ease and wellness during all seasons of the childbearing year for as long as the cycles of our lives have existed. Join us as we explore ways to safely cultivate relationships with our plant allies during pregnancy, and postpartum time through the use of holistic herbal supports and flower essences. This workshop focuses on herbs that are both affordable and available in abundance and is not only appropriate for folks in their childbearing years {and their partners} but also birth workers and doulas who would like to incorporate herbal supports into their practice. Everyone who registers will receive the recording of the workshop along with a multi-paged handout with plant profiles, recipes, and other supportive information. Andrea Webb is an herbalist and mother in the Kennebec Valley of Maine. After the birth of her second child, she trained as both a birth and postpartum doula. Andrea has over seven years of clinical experience supporting her community, including those in their childbearing years. Students must have an audio and video-enabled laptop, desktop, or tablet with reliable internet to participate in class. We do not recommend using a smartphone.
