This is a Maine State Approved Certified Nursing Assistant training course. The new amount of hours has been reduced from 180 hours down to 130 hours. Preparing students to become C.N.A. certified requires 70 classroom hours, 20 lab hours, and 40 clinical hours. Routine tasks required for personal nursing care will be taught.
Applicants must apply, and be screened for acceptance in accordance with local and Maine State regulations, confirm academic skills through the CASAS Test, and pass a criminal background check.
CASAS Testing: Mon Aug 19 9:00am OR Wed, Aug 21 9:00am (Call Sue at 282-3883 to schedule testing. Bring COMPLETED application to appointment.
